Process type labels

We want to be able to assign additional labels for data, alongside where the current label for process type is. We need one label categorising data into 4 groups, and one categorising it into 6 groups, according to: https://www.wiki.ed.ac.uk/pages/viewpage.action?spaceKey=nnpdfwiki&title=The+NNPDF+Collaboration+wiki&preview=/58984316/372392087/new_process_types.pdf.

Where is the best place to create these new labels? Presumably it should be done prior to the validphys stage?
